Otranspo separates authoritative provider data, derived calculations, and community reports.
Transit schedules, realtime information, and alerts
OC Transpo schedule and realtime data is obtained through its developer services. Official service updates are read from the operator’s published English and French feeds. STO information is used only when its configured feed and terms have been approved.
Maps and places
Transit geometry comes from the same imported GTFS feed used for schedules. Street-map tiles and geocoding are enabled only for a configured provider whose production use has been approved.
Map attribution remains visible in the interactive map. Otranspo does not cache third-party map tiles for offline use.
Weather
Weather-dependent routing or advice is not presented unless the configured Environment and Climate Change Canada source is current and its source label is visible.
